Commercial

first
established
by
Dr.
Somphet
Rattanasim
to
provided
short-term
courses
in
vocational business skills.
•
In
1994,
the
school
was
upgraded
to
College
teaching
a
5-years
courses
of
higher
diplomas
level
in
business
administration
and
renamed
school
as
Rattana
Business Administration College (RBAC).
•
On
11
November
2002,
RBAC
was
recognized
by
the
Ministry
of
Education
and
Sports
(MOES)
to
teach
bachelor
degree
in
5
business
majors:
BBA
in
Management,
Finance
and
Banking,
Marketing,
Accounting and Business English.
•
On
27
November
2006,
it
was
approved
by
MOES
to
teach
master
degree
in
5
majors:
MBA
in
Management,
Finance,
Accounting,
Marketing
and
Information
Technology.
This
project
is
under
service
cooperation
between
the
Rattana
Business
Administration
College
(Lao P.D.R) and Santapol College (Thailand).
•
On
6
February
2019,
the
college
had
been
awarded
by
MOES
to
teach
bachelor
degree
and
beyond,
and
also
upgraded
the
college
tier
to
the
institute
level
tier
and
renamed
the
Rattana
Institute
of
Business
Administration (RI).
•
In
2021,
RI
is
accredit
by
the
Ministry
of
Education
and
Sports as a
full-fledged institution
.
